Esperance, una pequeña ciudad costera ubicada al suroeste de Australia, con playas de arena blanca, aguas cristalinas, rodeada de montañas y con un archipiélago formado por un centenar de islas.
Entre ellas, y considerada como la más grande de la zona, destaca Middle Island, descubierta por el caballero francés Antoine Bruni d’Entrecasteaux,y donde vivió el pirata Black Jack Anderson durante aproximadamente diez años. Pero el principal motivo por el que es conocida es por el lago Hillier. Y os preguntaréis, qué tiene este lago de especial? Su permanente color rosa, que contrasta con los tonos turquesas del mar que lo rodea.
Muchos de vosotros, sin saberlo, habréis visto fotos de este lugar y os habréis preguntado dónde se encuentra y cómo es posible acceder a él. Pues bien, solo hay dos opciones: tomar un barco desde Esperance y pasar unas horas conociendo Middle, o bien... realizar un vuelo escénico por la zona. La mejor elección!

Among them, and considered to be the largest in the area, highlights Middle Island, discovered by the french knight Antoine Bruni d'Entrecasteaux, and where the pirate Black Jack Anderson lived for about ten years. But the main reason it is known is because of Lake Hillier. And you will ask, what does this special lake have? Its permanent pink color, which contrasts with the turquoise tones of the sea that surrounds it.
Many of you would have probably seen photos of this place and you would have asked yourself where it is and how it is possible to access it. Well, there are only two options: take a boat from Esperance and spend a few hours getting to know Middle island, or... take a scenic flight around the area. The best choice!
